Cast Steel VS Welded Hitches -

PART 1: How Are They Made?

The process of making a cast steel hitch differs largely from how a fabricated (welded) frame is manufactured. In this video, Fenton goes through the steps of how each hitch is created from molten steel pouring and welding to quality control and finishing touches which include hydraulic springs, painting etc! Rhinox offers both a cast steel frame in our hydraulic quick coupler and a fabricated frame in our manual quick hitch.
