As the days start to get longer, and gradually begin to get warmer the landscaping season is getting into full swing.
One of the questions we often get asked is What excavator attachments are worth adding to my array of tools?
Obviously a digger isn't much use without a set of digging buckets and a grading bucket, but outside of this, there are a few other attachments that are very handy pieces of equipment, and can save hours of hard labour!
Land Clearance Rake
Our first obvious choice is a Land clearance rake. These handy tools make light work of clearing brambles and shrubs from overgrown sites and gardens.

Ripper Teeth
Ripper teeth are brilliant tools for breaking hard ground as well as working out tree roots or lumps of concrete and other stubborn objects such as fence posts.

Riddle Buckets
Think of a sieve. Then think of putting a sieve on an excavator. Yes you got it - these tools are great for sorting soil and rubble etc. If you need to remove large stones from soil before turfing or seeding this tool is perfect for you. Maybe you have dug up a patio and want to backfill using some of the excavated material - again this tool will save you hours of hard graft.

Deep Dig / Micro Trenching Bucket
Probably the least obvious on this list of attachments is our micro trenching bucket. This product was originally developed for us on fibre optic broadband installs, but has since found its home with 100's of equipment operators across the country due to the fact that it is perfect for installing items such as water pipes, and small drainage trenches.
