Bladed 12 Ton / 20 Ton Excavator Buckets

Due to popular demand Rhinox Group now stock bladed buckets for 12-15 ton excavators and for 20-25 ton excavators.
Why use a bladed bucket?
Many construction and groundwork sites are now requesting that buckets are not fitted with teeth to reduce the chance of a cable strike - often referred to as 'Gummy Buckets'.
Health & Safety teams believe that using a bucket without teeth reduces the chance of a catastrophic service strike, and in our independent testing we have verified this fact.
Housebuilders are also increasingly requesting that trenches for foundations have a flat floor to give the foundations greater integrity.
On smaller excavators, the buckets are normally fitted with Bolt-on bucket teeth, so it is not normally a problem to remove the teeth and fit a blade system.
Larger excavator buckets are typically fitted with a weld-on tooth and adapter system, which makes it much more difficult to create a bladed bucket.
What are the options for a bladed bucket on a 13 ton / 21 ton excavator?
Rhinox Group offer a heavy duty blade welded to the excavator teeth to create a bladed bucket. In addition to this we also fill the gaps between the teeth to prevent material spilling out from these gaps.
This creates a flat edge to the bucket, yet still retains the strength and wear resistance of the teeth, and in return the trenches remain square, and without teeth marks.
